Color, with character

A finish for every voice.

18 transparent dye colors and 18 opaque solid colors, including Black dye and Jet black. Plus No burst, a faded burst in any chosen color, and 10 graduated burst palettes. Choose Honey, Iced Tea, Cherry, Tobacco, Bourbon, Dark Cherry, Charcoal, Cobalt, Fire or Violet edges in the showroom. Each region keeps its own wood, color, burst and sheen.

Burst or no burst.

These dye examples pair a center color with a graduated edge. Applying a palette keeps your selected finish type and wood. You can change the center and edge independently afterward.

Choose your center color.

Color through the grain.

Choose your center color below, then use Top burst in the showroom. A burst adds a soft transition through color at the perimeter; No burst carries your chosen stain across the carved top.

Finish references: PRS Custom 24 · Gibson Honey Burst · Gibson Iced Tea / Dark Cherry. These are color references; the previews retain the original Fostinis shapes.

Maple figure, ash grain, walnut and mahogany use separate texture assets. A color selection never changes the body shape. Natural grain and physical stain results vary; these previews are not color-matched finish samples.

Material sources and reuse rights
  • White maple, ash and walnut: Poly Haven, Jenelle van Heerden, CC0.
  • Original quilted Bigleaf maple reference (Acer macrophyllum): Stephen Ondich / Wikimedia Commons, CC0.
  • Red mahogany texture: PolyScan, CC0. Source trade name; botanical species is unverified.
  • The flame and quilt preview textures are generated photographic-style illustrations. Maple figure varies between individual pieces of wood.
  • Stain palette reference: StewMac ColorTone. Preview colors are design interpretations, not manufacturer color standards.

The original silhouettes are retained as source images. Front previews add fixed-position parts and source-aligned material layers. Component appearances are detailed illustrations of the selected type; exact manufacturer geometry and routing require the part drawings. The back and neck have independent wood, color and sheen selections. Rear headstock finish follows the neck. Fretboard options stay separate. Fostinis signature over an original purple guitar design
The Fostinis story · New York / New Jersey

An original shape.
A personal instrument.

Luthier Jimmy Fostinis and artist Joseph Califano brought their ideas together around one ambition: guitars with distinctive looks, an effortless feel, and a voice of their own.

That collaboration lives in three original designs. Start with the shape that speaks to you, then explore your own combination of woods, finishes, and appointments in the showroom.
