FOSTINIS GUITARS
YOUR HAND / YOUR SOUND / YOUR GUITAR

A Fostinis for your left hand.

Choose left-handed orientation on the Sphyx, Oryx or Matadaur, then make the woods, finish, string layout and appointments your own.

A Fostinis design example. Choose your own string count, scale, handedness and appointments in the showroom.

All three original models, with left-handed options.

Start with the model that catches your eye: the expressive Sphyx, the single-cut Fostinis Oryx or the flagship Matadaur. Left-handed orientation is a choice within each model, alongside the string count and scale layout.

In the showroom, select your model and change the handedness option to left-handed. Inspect the front and back of the instrument as you explore the design. Your saved configuration retains the selected orientation so it stays part of the specification you share.

Choose strings and scale independently.

A left-handed custom guitar can use 6, 7 or 8 strings. You can also choose parallel or multiscale frets. The 7-string guide explains how to approach string count, and the multiscale guide compares the current scale lengths.

When you contact Jimmy, include your tuning, preferred string gauges and the neck feel you are looking for. If you have an existing instrument that feels right, describe what you like about it so the design discussion has a clear starting point.

Make the visible details personal.

Explore the wood figure, transparent dyes, solid colors and burst choices. The top, body back and neck have independent finish selections. You can inspect different views as you work, save a design, give it a nickname and share the configuration.

For inlays, graphics or an idea outside the available menus, use the custom request option and include a reference image. Explain the details that matter to you, including any preferred orientation of artwork or text.

Confirm the appointments for the left-handed build.

The final bridge, tuners and other components must suit the selected instrument and orientation. Availability can differ between parts, especially when handedness, extra strings and a multiscale layout are combined. Use the showroom’s compatible options and ask about a specific part before committing to the build.

Review the complete design and total, then contact Jimmy to confirm specifications and delivery details. Fostinis Guitars is based in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, and ships throughout the United States. See the order and shipping terms before placing your order.
